Braves started slowly against a team full of confidence after picking up both new personnel and their first win of the New Year. Having got lost on route to Nailsea (lots of dark narrow winding roads), Braves now looked lost on court. The defence that restricted Wiltshire Wolves to no made baskets in Q4 five days earlier was nowhere to be seen. After regrouping at the end of Q1, Braves stepped up the help defence by communicating more effectively and started hitting Nailsea on the fast break. We found repeated success through our forwards who either created their own chances or who were supplied with tasty dishes from our guards. Most noteworthy was Matt OTRIDGE who was constantly working for his team to secure his 1st 'Double Double' of the season, he scored 11 pts and supplied assists to team mates to score a further 20 pts. From there the team didn't look back and continued to outscore their opponents by seven points a quarter taking the eventual win 47 - 63.
